My name is Troy Dromey and I am a freshman at Moberly area community college. I am studying General education before I transfer to a 4 year university. I enjoy being outside, hunting, and fishing.

In composition we are creating a Genius hour project. Genius hour is an interesting idea of exploring a new way to learn about things you care about. I have always wanted to grow my own organic garden , with this project I will get the chance to be in control of what I learn about.

My timeline for the project is:

Week 1: Figure out seeds I should use and test soil ph.

Week 2: work the ground to prepare for planting.

Week 3: Plant and water seeds, spread fertilizer.

Week 4: weed garden and continue watering.

Week 5: create a fence around the border of the plot

Week 6: create video for presentation
